MP Raises Funds for Youth Training Programme on Cherry and White Bike

Gloucester MP Richard Graham has against the odds successfully completed the 110 miles from Gloucester to Parliament on his cherry and white bike to raise funds for the Gloucester youth training programme Onside. Richard arrived at Parliament on Sunday afternoon with Gloucestershire businessmen Nick Battersby and Tom Skinner, and were accompanied by rugby charity Wooden Spoon Gloucestershire Chairman Tim Heal on Saturday.

My crazy bike ride for Gloucester’s youngsters

I'm asking you to help me do something which will help youngsters in our city.  On the 26-27th March I'm going to ride my cherry & white bike to London to raise funds for Onside. Why?   Because Onside is a great training course for the young. It takes youngsters not in education, earning or training (NEETs) and builds their confidence by doing things they never imagined they would or could do - like playing rugby with Gloucester stars at Kingsholm and working out with the army at The Rifles' Beachey Barracks.
