On the 4th May, Gloucestershire went to the polls to elect their representatives on the council for the next four years.

The Conservative Group won 31 seats, Liberal Democrats 14, Labour five, Green two and one People Against Bureaucracy seat.

The turn out for this election was 37.04%, an increase of 5.25% from the last county election which took place in 2013.

We would like to thank all those who voted and all those across the county who staffed the 462 polling stations and worked overnight at the counts.
