Deb has lived in Quedgeley for 15 years and was elected as a city councillor in 2007 and is currently Cabinet Member for Performance and Resources. Deb has 2 daughters who attended local primary and secondary schools in Quedgeley.   She is actively involved in youth organisations in Quedgeley through her roles as vice-chair of Governors at Field Court Infants School and Divisional Superintendent of St John Ambulance Quedgeley Cadet Division.
Deb is passionate about Quedgeley and continues to serve in the best interests of residents by working with local and voluntary organisations to make further improvements to the area.
