About the Association Gloucester Conservative Association covers the Parliamentary constituency of The local face of the Conservative Party, the Association is led by a team of voluntary officers and organised into local branches on a geographical basis. These branches are represented on the ruling body of the Association, which is the Executive Council and also includes the voluntary officers (or Management team). The officers and branches play a vital role in ensuring the Party operates effectively in the City to achieve its main objective – that of winning elections. In 2002, the administrative functions of the Conservative Associations covering the constituencies of Cheltenham, Cotswold, Forest of Dean, Gloucester and Stroudwere brought together in one office in Cheltenham. Tewkesbury constituency joined the grouping in December 2005 and in January 2007, the group headquarters moved to new offices on the Gloucester Business Park. The six constituencies share the services of three Conservative Party Agents and secretarial and support staff who provide the professional backing to the volunteers who campaign and raise funds locally within each constituency.
